About Maryann

Ok, it’s me…Maryann…I am a 36 year old broadcast professional who has been married for 8 years to my inspiring husband, Jon. We were just blessed with our first child, a little boy, Mason Louis born in September. We have two Australian Shepherd’s, Fozzie and Sophie, who we absolutely adore. We currently live in Wake Forest, NC but I am originally from Watertown, NY. I have lived in NC for the past 13 years and love the south. Jon is from South Bend, IN but moved to NC when he was in 10th grade. He went to UNC and made the Triangle his home.

I am just a regular person who loves to work and play hard but sometimes I need an extra “kick.” Thus, my love for motivational quotes. It’s gotten so bad that I get daily emails with quotes and am constantly filling up my staff’s inbox with the ones I like. And, now that I am figuring out how to balance being a mom and a professional…I need motivation more than ever!

I am a huge Oprah fan and read once where she keeps a journal dedicated to all her favorite quotes…maybe she will participate :) Anyways, I have decided to share with the world…motivational quotes and my interpretation.
