Humor builds teams
“If you can laugh together, you can work together.”
A colleague of mine knows me well enough to know I would love this blog post. I am always trying to find creative ways to build a team. I have taken my team bowling, played dirty Santa and made them share embarrassing moments with each other.
But, this one is very creative. I love the idea of everyone wearing tacky Christmas sweaters to work. In fact, our sales department did just that this week. They even gave out a prize for the best one. Poking innocent fun and sharing a laugh is absolutely priceless in building comrade. Especially if you are the boss. Humility is a necessity in building respect.
Humor works wonders…especially in building a team.
