I’m baaaaack!!!

Hello everyone! I am back from two months of maternity leave. Wow!! I had all these plans of everything I was going to get done…I got alot of them done but not without lots of planning around naps and feedings. But, it felt wonderful to check just about everything off that list!!!
And, then I was back to work last week…I was like a child on Christmas Sunday night…excited and eager anticipating my first day back at NBC 17. But, also had sadness as I had to leave my precious baby for the first time with “strangers.” But, I knew he was in good hands…still not exactly easy.
But, I arrived early to work and genuinely enjoyed the day. Seeing my friends, catching up and wearing heels again were the highlights. And, the thought of my little angel waiting for me at the end of the day…was a huge motivation…one I never experienced before!
As one my colleagues greeted me with “Welcome Back to the Jungle-(coincidence-notice Mason’s onesie in the picture). And, were they right! I started preparing on Monday morning for a big presentation and worked on it diligently until it was time to actually present with my team on Thursday. It was an intense week but it got me back on the horse quickly!
I have had alot of my readers email me wondering when/if I would be back writing my motivational blog. I want to declare my commitment to “Get Motivated with Maryann.” It has become such an outlet for my professional motivation…it is invaluable to my personal growth…but, most importantly to others.
So, I’m baaaaack-to quote California’s Governor. Let me know of any topics that you would like me to share my “opinions” on. I look forward to the feedback.
I missed you all…now let’s get re-motivated!!!
